Also you are going to be unhappy when you get to the 6x9 hole, you need to make a nice new mounting plate for them! So get some 1/2"MDF ready, and some dynamat to seal it all up.

As for removing the panel....you need to remove everything around the rear seats, rear windshield area, and to make it easier the rear seat! Then you will finally be able to remove the rear panel. It is prone to breaking or cracking because it has so many darn clips in it. SO be very careful
So after making my first attempt, I failed and placed the clips back in place. It is incredibly hard to get at the 6X9 speakers for removal :( . I couldnt figure out how to remove the side panels from the back seat area as they tuck in and around the door as well.
