I've driven RWD at Rally Schools in mud, snow, and on ice. When you master a RWD car in those conditions, you feel like you've really accomplished something.

We have a missile cruiser permanently moored in our harbor here in Buffalo...and for all the years I've been working on the waterfront - I have not taken the opportunity to get on board and get a picture like that. What's wrong with me??

The same is True in Montreal, Canada (a few hours north of me) - required winter tires in the shivery season.
After experiencing the difference that winter tires offer...so long as I live here, I will never drive another winter without them. FWD, AWD, or RWD.
