You can plastidip your hood spears. Get some frog tape and a can of plastidip. Itll take a couple hours max. I did mine when in was gray and they were on for over a year with no problems. I have used plasti dip before to do stripes on my 2010 1LT to see if I liked them before purchasing the set, but I am not a big fan of the matte finish. I have tried the glossifier to give the matte a glossy finish, but I prefer vinyl instead.
