The OEM adapter in my Hurst kit has the slot and tapped mounting hole shown for the ZL-1 / 1LE. The boot connects to the stock shift knob itself so it should all mount back up.
I tried to take a picture of the OEM adapter but it's black on black and I can't get a decent shot of it, it's too hard to see.
