Same here. I just upgraded from a 1LT to a 2SS and expected it to be night and day. It was more like night and dusk. Once I used up the dealer's cheap gas and put in some 93 octane I felt a little more pep. I did
the fuse pull and it runs a lot smoother. As others have said, I feel the biggest difference when I'm already moving and accelerating to a higher speed.
By contrast, when mine was being worked on I used a loaner Camaro from the dealership. That was a V6 and it had more teeth than my V-8 (or my old V-6 had). I don't know if it was because it had been well-broken in or if they'd done some modifications to it, but the difference was so great that I opened the hood when I got home just to make sure it still had a V-6. I guess what I'm saying is that the potential for speed is there, is just has to be unlocked.
