The 3 second claim has waaaaaaaay too many variables, I am not even going to discuss it, but add the brakes/tires/cooling ($5k or so) and you probably have erase almost all of it.

I think the eLSD and Mag Ride accounts for a good deal of that three-second improvement, too.
