Its a given that Ford will step up Mustang performance, Chevy will do it on next gen, then Ford....etc. Mustangs far outnumber Camaros in overall sales, have far more following, more readily available parts/3rd party and more vendor support. I could swap out just about every cosmetic part on my 2014 GT within months of its release.
Camaros make me happier currently however...doubt I will ever go back to modern mustangs - an old Mach1, hell yea!
Having owned all 3, as mentioned....Corvettes are still the best overall ride for pure sports car enjoyment IMO. They are however the least practical and most expensive. That is why the avg age of a Corvette buyer is over 50...at least I helped bring down the avg age some. Regardless all 3 make for a fun ride!
