I'm not a fan of the pleather bra for cars. I had one on my first car and it made a hell of a mess on the clear. Scratched the crud out of it. I removed it every week and cleaned it and the car, but the wind and temperature changes turned it into a brillo pad on the paint. I would suggest just saving your pennies and getting the clear installed when you can, trying to avoid being behind trucks when possible.
