I wouldn't say they "hate" us...anymore than we "hate" them. It's a cross-town rivalry that's been raging since the beginning of the pony cars. All other contenders have come and gone...but Camaro and Mustang have endured.
The good news is...most of the time it's all in good fun, and there's plenty of market for both nameplates...so this isn't a to-the-death competition. Given the few years of Mustang when Camaro wasn't around, and the concept introduction after Ford redesigned the 'Stang to look all retro...it might be argued that they need each other.
So I say don't put more fuel on the fire...make s'mores with it.
