Just installed Borla ATAK Catback all by myself....

WOW.... Installed the system all by my lonesome... I would not recommend this, but it is possible...... one floor jack, and two jack stands. Jacked up one side of the car. Hardest part was getting that POS stock system out. It weighs a ton and is one big piece. Wouldn't have been hard with someone helping me... but since it was just me... phew... 2 hours overall. Quite a sense of accomplishment when you're all done... and it sounds great. Not as loud as I thought it would be... but not at all disappointed. Lots more popping during deceleration now too... sounds cool now... but I don't know if it will start to annoy me later... if anybody wants me to, I can take some vids and post them... but I know there are already a ton of them out here....

Congrats!! I'm leaning heavy toward making a move on the Borla ATAK. It just sounds so awesome.

Hahaha, this was me too. Had to wiggle my way out from under it after I pulled it out from the rear! I think maybe finding a place to store the OEM system was just as difficult. I couldn't believe it was all one piece to the mufflers!

You will not be disappointed. PM tandtperformance and ask for a price. I got mine from him, great deal, and fast shipping. It was at my door 3 days after ordering.

Haha I agree... I hid mine behind the shed... soon as the wife sees it... I am in trouble! I am such a pack rat... I think I will try getting it in the attic this weekend...?? No real reason to save it... I just might "need it" later

Haha, my wife opened up the garage as I was holding it. I keep all the OEM stuff JUST IN CASE. I thought I was gonna have my last car forever and still kept the OEM stuff, thankfully I did when it came time to trade it up!

Way to go! You'll find your gas mileage goes down the drain......I have the Corsa, and can't seem to keep my foot out of it. As far as the decel pop....Just put push in the clutch or put it in neutral (A6), and take your foot off the throttle.

Awesome... I've been thinking about doing the same myself.

Tim @ tandtperformance is a good guy. Glad to see him get some props here.

Make that vid!

Congrats on the work. I did mine by myself this weekend also, you are correct that it is quite a job for one person. It did take me about 3hrs though with a few short breaks here and there. The sound is nothing short of awesome!!! I can't wait to install my headers next! And VictoryMuscleCars, come on pull the trigger already and buy the ATAK!!! lol

Reminds me of when I did my kooks system by myself... "Oh ya I got this!".... Then I unbolted the stock system.. "F*** me this thing is heavy... how am I going to get out from under here?!!"

*Wiggles out with exhaust*

"Where the hell am I going to put this giant thing!?!?"
