Fuel Injector Cleaner on the Camaro ? Yes or No

For normal cars i.e. toyota, honda etc etc i use to put Fuel Injector Cleaner every 5,000 Kilometers ...

Is it advisable to put Fuel Injector Cleaner in the Camaro every 5K? or Will it cause the 6.2L Engine any harm?

Appreciate your feedback in advanced ..

+1 on Seafoam. I use no other.

You don't need to use fuel injector cleaner on a new car until say 25-30,000 miles. With that, if you use a top tier fuel with detergent additives or a non top tier fuel (BP) with detergent, I wouldn't add anything.

I can't stand people wasting money on "extra" cleaners if you use a quality fuel.

I use 93 octane fuel, and every now and then I'll put in a fuel system cleaner. I'm at about 15,000kms.
Recently, put in Zmax in the fuel and oil tank. Don't see how it could hurt.

Redline Fuel System Cleaner for all my toys for the past 15 years. I run a bottle thru every oil change. I've never had an injector problem.

I usually use the Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner/Treatment on my car before going on a long trip, like when I go from Texas to Oklahoma and back every couple months. 93 octane fuel only, here in TX. 91 octane in OK.

The stuff you dump in your tank is useless. If you really want to clean all of the carbon/flush the fuel rails/clean the intake/clean the throttlebody you need to have a shop do a motorvac on your car.

Here in Bahrain we have Caltex Fuel Injector Cleaner .. it does well for normal salon cars, i hope it does well for the Camaro as well ..

So basically no harm at all !! Might do it every 5km then since i don't drive the camaro in day to day activities (daily use) ...
