I'd have a hard time not tearing somebody's arms off and beating them to death with them if that happens to me!

God that sucks glad everyone is ok. You tail lights are worth more then that guys whole car. Why is it people who hit you always drive a pos car when you have your expensive one out. Let me guess he was texting on his cell phone

i gotta say, punch for punch the camaro is coming out way on top compared to these cars that keep hitting them.

good stuff to know.

and a very good reason why i never trust people approaching behind me, i always give myself some room ahead and keep an eye on the drivers approaching from behind me.

How in the hell do you not see a bright orange Camaro with it's brake lights on????

I do have to give GM credit though...for as much bitching as we did about the location of the reverse lights, they've help up fairly well in these rear-end collisions.

I was gonna start a thread this morning about people making us nervous when we're driving our cars. This girl was behind me this morning, talegating me and it seemed like she went out of her way to follow me. She was one of those 'late brakers' and easily noticeable. There were 3 or 4 times I thought "damn, she's gonna NAIL me if she looks away for a second or her brakes go squishy.

As long as it didn't "sag" the rear section of the uni-body frame (the one-piece sides should help prevent that) then it looks like a new rear bumber piece is about all you need. The front of the Honda is pretty f'd up. If it were me the guy's face would look about the same as his car.

Alot of rear-ends on the forum so far. People see the new Camaro and mash the gas to get a closer look! lol

And who says the pedal under your right foot isn't a safety feature...floor it and get the hell out of their way...when you can, legally of course.

Holy crap...Any idea how much a shop charges for that? around 7 grand? give or take a few depending on what type of shop you take it to.

WA drivers and awesome compared to the Old Floridians that drive in whichever lane they have to turn in, 20 miles away...

The trunk lid(is that what it's called?) in the 1st pic looks like it hangs too low...

...i totally agree...i have been rear-ended too many times in the past and have learned to always leave a lot of room between me and the car in front and i check my rear-view mirror as i'm coming to a red light or stop sign and taught both my sons the same...

AND, it seems the Camaro is holding up well in these impromptu "crash tests"...

So sorry for all of you that have had accidents with your "precious beauties"...i cannot even imagine the pain after waiting forever to finally get our cars, we were happy to see all the "happy owners & photos thread", now we are unfortunately seeing the "unhappy accidents thread"...
