.. what do us Euros think?
We know we'll get the front plate, we know we'll get awful rear lights (lots of orange) and the running lights will be a bit odd. But she's still a looker. Over here, the motoring "press" are saying we'll be paying somewhere around £35,000 for the "V8" (Whatever that turns out to be) which is twice what the US will be expected to spend - is that worth the money? Given that I own the Monaro - I reckon so; but I'm aiming for another 911 next so if I get a Camaro it won't be for a few years as I can't wait until 2010/11 to find out if it's any good!

Front plate doesn't look too bad and the rear lights matters not to me since if they aren't red here in Sweden I'm either modding or importing. Not driving around with those.
And I won't be able to get until I'm rich anyway so yeah it's worht the money. |

Wasn't too impressed with the ring outing. That car seemed to be doing some scary slow driving.

True you do testing every where , but when you come to an open session track you want to put your best foot forward per se. Especially with the vid cameras rolling. Nordschleife is not a track that you want to bring a car to that is not at least 95% sorted. That track eats cars when mistakes happen.
But on OTH , Kudos to Caddy for setting a track record. |

35K GBP = 63K EUR which equals the 43K US (for the top dog) + 19% +21% expenses with a remaining 4K EUR for some other expenses.
If that 's the case, it 's the same thing as importing it from the US on our own, so it may be better w8ing for the car to be available in Europe. Damn those #$%^%$^ who like taxing cars outside the EU like that :| |

And as for the "cameras rolling," they were spy cameras and not official footage. I'd be pretty disappointed if GM were to change their testing schedule just because some bloke is standing around with a handycam.
