Great gift for the Camaro lover... 31" R/C

I hope this is "allowed" on this board.

I have a few 2006 Concept Camaro remote control cars... brand new in box. They are 1:6 scale (approx 31" long) and look awesome. I bought the candy apple red for my kid and then got a good deal on a few more. Pretty fast car.

I have a couple of RED ones and one SILVER one.

Once again, I apologize if this is not allowed, but I thought my fellow Camaro lovers might like one until the REAL thing arrives.

ps - I am a former owner of a 1979 Z-28 black on black. Loved that car and owned it through most of high school and all of college (6 1/2 years!).

The shipping alone is going to have me looking elsewhere. Good luck there is always someone who will buy it but it won't be shipped to Carrollton Tx.

If you have an HEB grocery store nearby, check there. They had these for $39.99 at the HEB Plus near my house.

Don't have one near me up here in Carrollton. I would like to get an IOM Keychain though. I saw one the other day on EBay for 9.99 and free shipping. I see one on there right now for 11.99 and free shipping.

When I see a ridiculous amount of shipping listed I always ignore the auction from that point on.

At the very least I'd check the postage when the item arrived, then add a reasonable amount for the packaging. And if that was considerably below what was charged, the seller would not receive Positive Feedback. If they refused to refund the difference they'd get Negative or Neutral at best.

Maybe he is delivering it in a golden box and is taking a hit on the packaging or his kids need Christmas too. I wonder if that would be a tax writeoff?

dang you guys are harsh! LOL I sold 5 last year and shipping was $32 per (UPS I think). The sucker weighs 17-20 lbs. . . and yes I did take a hit on shipping last year.

Just checked UPS Ground (1-7 days delivery) and it is $35. 40" x 16" x 16# box, 17 lbs.

So bite me! "overcharge"? yeah right.

Not trying to "win" anyone over. Just putting a link out there if interested. If not, no problem, move on.

rolnslo, did you really find one at HEB? This year? I don't think any of the stores have them in stock any more. They originally sold in stores for $79.99. They ran out end of last year. I'll check the HEB right by my house out of curiosity.
