nitrous question

Ok so if I was to do say a 50-75 shot would it require a tune? Is it detectable if I was to uninstall the system if I needed to go her warranty work done? And last which system would be best for us V6 A6 guys?

if you could monitor the afr, and nail the n2o jets just right......but you would need race gas for an additional safety margin.
and if your asking.....you dont know, so dont do it.
if you blow the motor, and gm takes an oil sample, they will know you were spraying.

ok so dont let nitrous freak you out.... my setup is removable and gm will most likely never do an oil sample.. and if you do a window switch and and do a 75 shot you should be just fine!!! make sure you pay attejtion during the instal and learn about what you are doinf, but done be afrad the llt can handle it

I read on another thread that a tune is not required as long as you are under 100 shots.

nitrous is a cooling charge, you dont need race gas for anything.. people run stand alone systems with big shots.. race gas isnt needed unless the engine requires it in the first place due to compression

the tune should be conservative on the car but a 50-75 shot should be fine to get away with

use a wet system to be safer and all the safety measures and you should be fine with a 75 and under shot... Just know that if there is an issue and you run lean and hit the nitrous your going to have a big issue...

fuel pressue safety switch is your friend and the wet kit is easier. give nitro dave a call nitrous outlet and let them explain it to you so you dont get the wrong idea and misinformation
