Will a 100 shot be safe?

Have a 2010 SS Camaro with cam, ARH headers, Roto-Fab CAI, Corsa exhaust, BMR trailing arms, Nitto 555R drags, and a good tune. 455hp/417tq. Will the 100 shot be too much for the engine to handle.

alfie, you have a blower, he does not, does he?
i think a guy could pump in a 50 wet shot without tuning.....

got my flame suit on.

A 100 shot is no big deal on most any engine, may want to knockoff a couple degrees timing. Zex has a great little package with a new style all in one controller that I've had my eye on.

i have the zex kit, with a window switch works awsome and bulletproof.
still not sure i wanna put it on my boosted stock l99......

i think his 455 sounds a bit high for a cam headers and tune. 100 shot will be fine on that N/A motor.

No i didn't guess the numbers. The car was dynotuned at East Texas Muscle Cars. Probably would go with the blackout kit from Zex since the car is black with black wheels.

well why didnt you say so......
im sure the blackout would rock. but buy the window switch. it lets you enable naws to come on in in any gear you desire. say you set up for..
3500 rpm on
6000rpm off.
if you enable module to come on ion second gear, it becomes active once you rev past 6k rpm in first gear, so as you hit second...its on. unsure if second gear will hold traction....naws is a pretty hard hit.

Definately going with a window switch. You think with Nitto 555Rs it would blow the tires off kicking it on in 2nd gear, and do i need to upgrade any driveline components? Sorry will be new to nitrous!

well, if you have stock tires and almost break loose in second, and im guessing you are with that power, then youll need stickies to shoot in second. i was thinking of third gear.
maybe you should talk with your tuner shop, and maybe even goto a dual stage.
50-in second and 125 in third!

so how was it with stocks before the 555's?

For how much Hp it has i thought it hooked up fairly well, but with the 555Rs no spinning at all.

Seeing how you have a cam, that means you have had your car tuned.

DO NOT SPRAY ANY AMOUNT OF NITROUS INTO YOUR CAR WITH PULLING TIMING!

You car, right now, is tuned for max N/A performance. That means there is a good amount of timing in the tune (you could have upwards of 30* of timing.... some tuners believe that the ls3 heads LOVE timing).

If you were still stock, I'd say a 100 shot, without pulling timing, would be fine, because they are tuned conservatively from the factory.... but since someone tuned it, you are flirting with disaster.
