Yes...that was pretty obvious from the GM offerings at SEMA....as I finish painting and installing mine .....grrrrrrrrrrrr

So will the warranty still be affected by them being painted? I don't remember how that worked out exactly, so feel free to clear up anything :P

If you paint them yourself, I believe the warranty issue remains.

That's the way they should have been in the first place. I never have liked the look, even when painted, but they look terrible without paint.

mine are getting painted and installed today.... I'd have to assume since the dealer is painting them my warranty will be just fine.
