Differences between 2LT and 1SS besides engine?
Sorry, I'm pretty new around here. I'm just trying to debate between a 2LT and 1SS, and which is the better bang for the buck.
Is there any difference between the 2, besides the V6 and V8 engines and the cloth/leather interiors? |

I believe the Convenience and Connectivity is only available on the 2LT.

The things the 2LT has that the 1ss doesn't...
Boston Acoustics ® premium 9-speaker 245-watt audio system Bluetooth® for phone, personal cell phone connectivity to vehicle audio system Cargo convenience net Driver Information Center (DIC) compass Four-pack gauges mounted on center console: oil pressure, battery voltage, oil temperature and transmission uid temperature Inside auto-dimming rearview mirror Body-color power-adjustable heated mirrors (auto dimming on driver side) Wireless PDIM (for use of steering-wheel controls with auxiliary device) Remote vehicle starter system (with automatic transmission) Leather-appointed front seat trim with SS embroidery Heated driver and front passenger seats Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls Universal Home Remote USB port The 1SS has 20in wheels whereas the 2LT has 19s. |

I must have dreamt up the remote start for the 1SS. I could have sworn I seen that in there.

Only if the LT is an auto. If it's a manual -- it'll have the SS's rear-end.

Really? That's news to me... but I won't argue...I just knew that the V8 I plan on buying has a beefier rear end than the V6 does so that it should be able to take the upgrades I'll do to it.

i dont foresee the gas mileage difference that significant either. its one mpg city and 3 highway so what an average of 1.5 mpg difference for 126 more hp and 100+ more lb feet of torque!!??

from what everybody was beating to death last week, all Camaros have a 3.27 rear end except the manual SS. it has a 3.45
