Hey Camaro family, after a very long wait, finally took delivery of my 2011 Synergy Green SS!!!

So excited!! First, a little background info. i am in my late 30s and grew up liking 2nd and 3rd gen camaros/firebirds. In highschool my dream car was a black IROC-Z with t-tops. Fast forward to college graduation, my parents bought me a brand new 1995 black z28 with ttops and the performance axle ratio!!! Man, i was on cloud 9. what 21 year old wouldn't love this car. I loved my camaro and had alot of great memories in it, but in med school and residency i wasn't able to take care of it like i should have, and after 13 years of ownership, i had to let it go... I like so many others, got goosebumps when i saw the concept revealed at the detroit autoshow, i was yelling for my wife to come look, i got all emotional and everything. i really wanted to get the new camaro when it came out. i sold my z28 in feb 2008 and the 5th gen was still a year away. i almost "lost the faith" and i even met with the fleet manager at a dodge dealership to go over credit union pricing on a dodge magnum srt8, but didn't pull the trigger. I instead purchased a honda fit to run around in until i could get back into a camaro. Now 3 years later, I have a MANTIS (as my boys call it) parked in the garage. My face hurt after the first day of driving it from my big old cheesy PERMAGRIN. Big thanks to my lovely pregnant wife who was ok with me purchasing a 4 person car when our family is about to have 5 people. Thanks to Ed Wellburn, FbodFather, John,Cheryl,Tom and the whole camaro team, Mike Judge and the Oshawa build team for my dream car.

I remember getting my SS back in 2000....its a great day I still remember it well today, great memories.

Thanks everyone!!! Still can't believe its mine. at work i am looking out the window at it. at home i keep going to the garage to stare at it and make sure its still there haha. my boys love it! when i saw those black/chartreuse nikes, i just had to get them.
