What else is everyone considering besides the Camaro?

If anything else at all? I think we did a thread similar to this a while ago, but O well, I'm doing it again.

My list:

-Acura TL('10)
-Audi A4
-BMW 1er coupe, 3er sedan/coupe
-Chevrolet Camaro
-Hyundai RWD coupe('09, '10)
-Pontiac G8
-Toyota Supra('09, '10)
-Vee Dub GTI/ R36


I have time so some of these are just possibilities I'm looking at because they appear interesting. The whole nationalist pride thing where I was concerned about spending money on a foreign car, supporting another country has faded. At the end of the day I'm a car nut, and I love cars, regardless of where they're from.

Obviously, I'm looking for anything American, and sporty. But my wallet goes to Camaro, I have a history with the name - so it goes. Oh, and it's a kick-ass car! Duh

I'm GM loyal so even if the camaro turned out looking like ass i would either just go with the 2 options above or wait to see what GM could do later down the road.But i've got my fingers crossed that the production maro will look almost identical to the concept.

I'd consider a GTO.

If girly and I continue on our current path, she is dying to lease a Bimmer...I'm not sure how that's gonna work out, but I gotta include it in plans just in case.

If they Came out with a New GTO by the time I would get a Camaro...:eek: Then yeah, I'd consider it. But as of now. They aren't making any new ones...and the Car I want to keep for a lifetime, needs to be a new car, not used.

Which is why I'm not intending to buy any other car until the Camaro comes out. I'll only get a NEW Camaro...other than that, it's going to be keeping my 4th Gen until then.

I've never owned a new car. I have always refused to pay for something that instantly loses $3-5k as soon as it leaves the lot.

I'll pay that $3-5k for someone else's mistake anytime.

I always laugh at that comment when people make it.....

Don't make the mistake when you buy the car, and then the $3-5K you worry about is a moot point....keep the car a little longer, like most of us are going to do with the 5th gen and it really doesn't matter.

To replace the z71, either the new Impala SS (RWD, 6spd if they ever make one) or a g8.

To replace one of the 'toys', a c6 Corvette if I could swing it.
