High IAT's with E-Force
My IAT's are hovering in the 120-125 range and peaking at 145 under load. My tuner suggested I upgrade the heat exchanger, but I can't find any that appear to be any better than the one that comes with the E-Force.
Anyone have suggestions? |

One of the reasons Whipple has the lowest IAT, is due to their bigger HE. Find out if you can buy HE from Whipple and their pump to replace the E-Force.

What is your ambient air temperature?

If your inlet air is at 85F and your making 6.5psi of boost, then you're absolutely correct that the HE isn't doing much work if your IATs are approaching 145F.
The inlet air going into SC is probably 10-20F higher than ambient, so the 145F looks a bit better, is there any restriction to the airflow going to the HE? Is there any air in the coolant possibly restricting the water flow?

120 - 125 degree IAT's are pretty normal especially if you've been in stop and go traffic, or if you've been driving then stop and cut off the engine for 15 - 20 mins or so and start driving again. A 20 degree rise under load is pretty typical as well.
