Interior Door Panels
I know most of you are waiting for your SS's but with a teenager at home but can't afford to pay for my insurance agents next vacation so I ordered a 1LT. I am now thinking of upgrading to a 2LT but can't figure out if it comes with the shiny (hard?) acrylic panels on the interior doors or something else. Some pictures have it but that may be another add-on. The cloth seats appear to have cloth panels in the doors. Is this right? I know you guys will have the answer. Thanks for your help.

If you get leather seats, you get acrylic panels.
And I believe the 2LT is leather... correct? Now I don't remember :( hah |

Do the acrylic panels match the interior or the body of the vehicle? I noticed in pictures of the grey interior(which I ordered) that the panels were silver, and I love them...But the car was silver as well. Hoping for silver panels with my grey interior!

I think if you're stepping up to the 2LT for the Convenience & Connectivity package, leather, Boston Acoustics, wheel mounted controls, aux guages, heated seats, etc., the door panels seem rather immaterial. I'm willing to accept the acrylic to get the Ambient Lighting, otherwise I wouldn't prefer it.
And welcome to the site, Buckbo!

ABL has been so watered down, to me its a total failure. With that being the case I'd rather see the acrylic dropped and replaced with leather. Keeping a two tone silver door insert leather and silver leather going across dashboard, basically keeping the same scheme they have would be very nice.
If ABL had been what it was supposed to be then the acrylic inserts would have been fine. |

I don't think anybody has witnessed the ABL in dark conditions, so I am still saying that is going to look great in the dark. I saw it at the Cleveland Auto Show, and you can't even see it in the light. But it's not made for the light!

Man I wish you could get orange panels with the black leather doors. I guess I could always order the orange panels and swap them out later.
