So Fed Up With Sirius XM

I called them the other day to address an issue I had with my bill. About a month ago I called to request that all my radios which is a total of 4 be switched to the Music Only option which is $9.99. I thought that this was going to change my main radio from $12.95 to $9.99 and keep all my additional radios at the discount of $8.99.

I get my bill and only one radio is changed to Music Only and it's one of the additional radios and not the main one. So my bill was $12.95 for the main, $9.99 for an additional radio and $8.99 each for the other two. I called them and said why an I paying more for one of my addition radios when I'm getting 70 less stations and why didn't they change my main radio to $9.99. They told me that I must have one of my radios at $12.95 but can get the music only for the other 3 which is $1 more for 70 less stations. WTF, who would do that? So I asked her if I only had one radio could I get the music only she said yes. So I said, you give the person with one radio the option to have a discounted package but here I am with 4 radios and I don't have that choice. Because overall I'll be paying more for less. She couldn't explain to me why that was.

Is it me or does this billing/charges seem idiotic?

They don't explain anything because they don't know anything. They just wing it day by day.

FM is free and the ipod plays what I like with no commercials. If you call their CS center and ask to speak to someone on US soil you might get better results.

....and because of that they have one of the worse customer service departments I've ever dealt with.

LOL.

If it weren't for my hubby I would have canceled it a long time ago but he swears by XM and probably because he doesn't have to deal with the customer service because the bill's in my name.

When I buy my next car if the dealer activates XM or gives my info to them it will be a deal breaker for the sale

I called yesterday and mine will be shut off on July 1. This is the best plan I've found yet!

I didn't know you can change packages, good to know. I love XM but they are trying to stick us with a 3 year pre-pay for our SUV that is too much.

I was excited about getting xm because they've got a pearl jam station now... The only thing is they only really seem to play live bootlegged tracks, instead of off the album. You've gotta really crank it to hear it, and by then it sounds like dookie. As someone already mentioned, all of their other stuff is junk.

I can save you $40 a month. Cancel them all and put your money toward cd's and itunes.
