ok, so I went to order a VR intake for my new SS.. then last minute found out it won't fit (thanks fellow member). Then I was about to order the SLP CAI, but noticed a fitting near the throttle body that is not present in the 2012. I know this may be a 'relatively' dumb question.. but are all intakes obsolete for the 2012 SS 6.2l??

I am pretty sure most intakes will fit the 2012..only reason VR does not fit is the coolant cap which it goes around was moved.

I know positively that our intake works on the 2012 SS, we also have a intake system for the 2012 V6 as well. Let me know if you ave any questions!

I have a buddy with a CAI intake on his 2012 and he loves it, no problems that has has old me about.

I would go with Cold Air Inductions, great product, right after the install I could tell the difference.
