So a few weeks ago my dealer said my build date was 4-13-09
![]() Today she told me that i was still @ 3000 she does not know when my car will be built. ![]() How long does it take to sequence through production phases? She also has not been very good about keeping me up todate with status codes is there any other way to view these other than through the dealer. (Its the owner that I ordered the car through) 1100 = Preliminary Order: 2000 = Accepted By GM: 2500 = Preferenced: 3000 = Accepted By Production Control: 3100 = Sequenced: 3300 = Scheduled For Production: 3400 = Broadcast: 3800 = Produced: 4150 = Invoiced: 4200 = Shipped: 5000 = Delivered To Dealer: 6000 = Delivered To Customer:

some other peoples cars that were supossed to be build the same week as mine
also got pushed back w/o reason... "Originally Posted by audiowylde fantastic news bud. Mine was suppose to be built this week 4/13-4/19, but it is still at 3000 and apparently my build week isn't showing up in the system anymore like it did a few weeks back." WTF?

Who knows mine and many others have been built long before the ones that are already delivered to the customer and are driving them. So I don't believe that anyone can answer for sure.

Once again remember that the early vins had to be delayed due to problems they may have had. Since the problem was caught on earlier vins, the later vins will be able to come straight off the line with the problem fixed

I understand that but still sucks it takes them forever to fix them and then half of the shipping is already full because they are shipping the new ones vs the ones that needed to be fixed so now we wait longer.

1100 = Preliminary Order
2000 = Accepted By GM: Depends on your dealers allocation. This happens when your dealer submits it to production. 3000 = Accepted By Production Control: the wednesday after 2000 3300 = Scheduled For Production: About two weeks after 3000 3400 = Broadcast: About one week after 3300 3800 = Produced: About one week after 3400 4200 = Shipped: Varies. Could be anywhere from 1 day to a few weeks after 3800. 5000 = Delivered To Dealer: Varies. Could be anywhere from a couple days to a few weeks after 4200. 6000 = Delivered To Customer: Hopefully only an hour or so after 5000. All of these are considering a SMOOTH production but as has been stated and shown, right now it is anything but. This early in the process it is impossible for it to being going like that. Once it stabilizes, all cars should be delivered in 6-8weeks from the time they are actually submitted to production by the dealer. |
