There's been a lot of talk lately, all well deserved, about when the "sold orders" will arrive. However, my question is what's the approximate delivery period for orders placed after the mid-March cut off, and when full production begins?

Thanx in advance for any info that is provided.

After March 15th you will have to wait till next year.

Dealer said they were making 60,000 for this model year. Right or wrong I think you'll be able to get one around Oct., Nov.

My dealer is pretty sure that they would be getting their cars by June, July, so im guessing you would be able o get a car by September, maybe a bit earlier, maybe a bit later.
Im not sure if we are going to see a price hike after March 16th, hope it doesnt.

lol maybe......guess what happened today, i went to the dealer, and just like you said, two of the orders were changed to IOM, i officially hate the autoshow lol

The plans were for all early order cars will be delivered before the end of October. Now that was when they said was the latest it would be, it could be sooner, it could be later, it's all depending on the total number of early orders they get by March 15th, but as you know nobody knows how many there will be yet, so anybody that tells you a date is just guessing.

No, the plans were for all 1st batch ALLOCATED cars to to be built by October. Anyone who orders from a dealer who still has initial allocation left will get their car by October. My guess, they'll actually get them by end of August; October is obviously a "safe" date.

thats right, we have been using the term pre orders for so long now I forgot. thanks....I stand corrected.

hope i won't have to wait til august/september for my car.
If so, i'd rather wait and try to get a better deal. I'm paying MSRP in hope to get it by April or June.
