Stitching on Shift Knob Issue

How do you guys keep this clean? Maybe it's my sweaty hands, or just the cleaning liquid I use to clean the leather during car cleans, but how do you keep this white? Any tips?

I use Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner.
It restores the leather to the factory stock matte appearance and works great on the threads.

I got myself the Drake shifter handle, it's just like the one you see in the 2006 concept camaro, love that shifter handle. Of course it's for the automatic only though.

I took a wet microfiber cloth and rubbed it for about 10 seconds and it was about as white as new... nothing fancy. I left it unwashed for a year because I figured it was doomed to become gray anyway, but water works wonders...

SLP sells stock knobs for $29 so i bought a spare. Don't have to worry too much about it now.

GM calls the white stitching stone...its the same thing. Yeah i linked to a used knob, but it comes off of a new car that SLP buys to do their conversions. Less than 20 miles. Mine came flawless. GMpartshouse sells brand new ones for $54 i think.
