trim paint question.
so about to paint the silver interior trim part of the dash should i rub it down with alcohole first? i have never spraid any armoral stuff on it though. please help

Well one need to sand it with low grit, two need to get perhaps a coat of primer that helps with adheasion to plastic, then three purchase the color you want and four clear coat it... of course with a little sanding in there...

What silver on the dash? I just removed my speedometer bezel, the long piece on the console that has the tray or gauge cluster, & the gear shift piece. Just finished painting it today. First u need to sand it w 800-1000 grit sand paper. U just want to get thru the clearcoat but not too deep or ull scratch it. Sand. Clean w soap & water Primer. Sand again. Wash. Paint. Clear. Done. Good Luck!!
