The polished stock wheels are covered with clearcoat. You won't get them looking like chrome without removing that first.

Spray them down with acid first to get the clear coat off. Then knock yourself out polishing

The above posts are correct in that you must remove the clearcoat first. After it is removed you will be able to polish them to some extent but where as they are a cast wheel they will never have the brilliant shine you get with billet aluminum.

I have the polished wheels, and while they don't look like chrome (and never will) when they are clean and waxed they look very sharp.

I have stripped and polished mine, the best way to remove the clearcoat is with a good quality aircraft paint remover. As mentioned above, because they are a cast wheel the polishing has to be maintained quite a bit more than billet. I believe the aluminum frame on your bikes have a magnesium content and are not cast.

I'm a wheel and tire distributor so I got them thru me
I'm not an authorized vendor on this site. I can however point you in the right direction. Speeddepot is an authorized vendor on the site and for American Racing and can get you a setup like mine. If you have anyquestions about sizes or fitment you can pm or ask away

Any good polish or wax out there that makes them shine without removing the clearcoat?

Meguiar's 105 polish with a 4" pad on a drill will shine them up. Then apply a good quality wax and or sealant. I bought new brake pads to stop that brake dust. What a difference!

The polished aluminum wheels are Chinee, not shiny.
