Someone stole my outside mirror!

So I had the car in an underground parking lot (under an apartment complex) parked last night, I park it there every weekend. I came out to the car this morning to see that my driver's side mirror was removed. Just the part that is actually a mirror, not the housing. Here is a picture:

Thankfully nothing else was damaged on the car.

Where is the best place to get a new mirror?

No offense, but pick up a California duster, too.

Misalignment of the molding suggests something collided with your mirror. The mirror portion broke and fell off.

I didn't even notice that, looks like I may need more than just the mirror glass.

Time to upgrade to some showstopper mirrors with turn signals.

Yeah I think someone smacked your mirror and then hid the evidence!

I think they just had to pry on it to get the mirror part out of it, but I suppose it's possible. There is no evidence that it was hit though, in terms of paint/marks on it.

I think it was misalligned from the factory, as mine was. If someone or something collided with it, there should be some kind of mark on the housing. Bring it back to the dealer

Well now I discovered a scratch on my car too, looks like they keyed the rear quarter panel too. Not sure how I missed that before. I don't know why people do these things to other people's property.
