well I'm sorry to tell you this, but unless you find a wrecked RS you can get the headlights out of....and they are not just PLUG-N-PLAY ......as NEW Headlights alone will cost you more than the additional money it would have cost you to buy a RS to start.
good luck on your quest.

OP, I'd check eBay for the parts/headlights. And I'd give adding RS badges a second thought...It may end up with the RS "parts" but it will never be an RS. |

My wife has RS tail lights left over after her LED swap and I have a rear spoiler after my change out. If your interested send me a PM. We live in Corpus and there is a good chance I'll be coming to Houston soon. Anyway PM and we'll figure it out.

but I understand that a lot of folks can't bite the bullet at the beginning. she may have to have it done a little at a time to end up with the finished product she wants.

In the end after all your expense it will still be an LS (VIN). It will look nicer though.

As I recall, you can buy the new RS headlight assemblies as a pair for around $1200 (they do cost $800+ individually) - check with one of the discount GM Parts vendors.
Then you just need the adapter cable which several sponsor vendors sell. Or you might get lucky and find slightly used headlight assemblies for $400-500 ea.

well after thinking about this i might just consider trading it in next year for a 2lt rs convertible when the 2013 model comes out so that i can get everything i want plus the Mylink option.
but i still am looking for the rs taillights, and the silver spoiler lip to match. |

Send me a pm, I know where you can get the rs headlights for a lot less than what the dealer wants. Also, all you would need after that would be a $100 dollar non-rs to rs harness from ofer (member name: 2ssrs) and you can do the install if you can take off the front bumper. I've done it 4 times and I can do it in under an hour now.
