Remove Wheel Liner without removing Wheel itself?
Is it possible to remove the front Wheel Liners without removing Wheels?
And get them back in again? I'm trying to access the area behind the CAMARO text on the side so I can rewire these bloody awful UK IVA regulation side indicators and replace them with something darker FYI. ![]() As the weather is so **** in the UK with rain all the time and I do not have a garage I don't want to have the car up on jacks for ages... |

I havent done this, but I would say yes. Im sure someone else will chime in, but the liners are flexible, and arent held in by much, I would assume you can get them off and out with the wheel still on.
Jacking will make it easier, but if you dont mind working in the cramped wheel well, I would say you can do it without jacking. Might have better luck posting in the cosmetics modification board, the DIY doesnt get all that much traffic |

Yes you just have to turn the wheels one way or the other to access everything. I pulled off both of my front wheels liners when I put on my Hertiage grill and left both wheels on.

Yay!
I was looking in the Technical Manual but I couldn't find all the mount (screw, stud) points listed oir illustrated. It always refers to Removing the Front Wheel Liner, but never shows you :-( Seems there are two screws at each side/skirt, then two studs each side in the wheel arch itself?... Camaro 2010 V6 1LT |
