Wednesday Event Code Updates?
Has anyone been fed this line of
 from their dealer (sorry, not intended for honest dealers)Last week I check in and I'm told: They will be updating the codes on Wednesday for the Camaros. I will email you Wednesday to give you the current status on your vehicle. And when emailed in today to check, I was advised of today's serving of (cut & pasted in their exact words)There website is having problems and ordering part I can’t get into. As soon as I can get in, I’ll let you know if there are any changes. I am crossing my fingers!  If anybody's willing #NHJPMCIs a "101 lines of dealer BS" thread in order?

Thursday?
I was told by the salesman that I would be hearing from him on Thursday. So I believe that updates are done at some point on Wednesdays.

I got my update to 2000 on a Thursday and was told that I would get another update next Wednesday (today).
System is unavailable to dealers while GM does something on Sunday and Monday according to my dealer.

It updates every day. Your car won't get an update every day but when it does, you won't have to wait til the following wednesday or something stupid like that.
Thursday is when the ordering submission period opens (only affects orders at 1100). |

I believe Scotty, or RPO or one of the other dealers have stated that the GM Global connect system updates daily. This does not mean that you will have activity daily.
Your dealers are probably telling you once a week to avoid having you call daily for updates. UCF w00t beat me to the answer.

I receive updates often. See below. Then again, my dealer is RPO_Z28. He checks almost daily.

I got an update last friday... still at 1100 but was alos told my order will go in this week to check back thursday or friday for a confirmation. I am giving him till monday since I am getting married this weekend and there are some things more important than the camaro.
Also we are going to dinner and to see TF2 on Monday so why not stop by the dealer while we are out. The cinema and dealer are both about an hour from our house (we live in the sticks). |
