but how the hell does the Hyundai Genesis even come up in a discussion involving Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs?!

Seriously...the thing doesn't even remotely resemble the "style" of either of those 3!

Well I hope they're wrong about brand loyalists being the major buyers for the car. I'm not a chevy or camaro loyalist. I just think that car looks awesome and has a ton of features for the price!

I hope this car attracts more people who would want to buy cars like the Inifinity G37 or BMW 335. I know, muscle car is not luxury, but trust me, in my circle, if you're looking for a performance coupe, looks and power is what matters. Some people would rather buy a luxury brand just to say they have one, I understand, but the sensible people should go for the car with the best performance #'s!!!

The Genesis coupe is actually the V6 Camaro's closest competitor. It doesn't look like a pony car but it has similar performance.

They are wrong!

This is the first GM product I have bought since 1986 and I love it and do not regret it. Before then I was not a GM fan. I bought it when all the GM news was bad with government bail out and bankruptcy. I did not care, this car is so cool and fun none of that mattered. Bravo GM you hit a home run with this car. This was the car that brought me back to GM.

Yeah, GM has made quite a few 'conquest' sales as they are called with the Camaro. Lots of people that wouldn't normally buy a GM have changed their mind for this car, or if not this one, have been more willing to look at other new GM models.
