Front Bumper Problem

So I followed a video on taking off my front bumper to do a bulb swap. Came off without a problem, and I thought it went back on without a problem, however, when I closed the hood I noticed it is flush/level with the bumper on the outer edges inward towards the center from both sides but the very middle section of the bumper in front of the cowl on the hod sits about 1/8 to 3/16" above the hood. Any idea what I did wrong? Seems like the plastic is bound up at the center where the push pins are- perhaps I need to break everything loose and re-tighten outward from center. Anyone else have an issue when doing this swap? Is there maybe a lip that I don't have it laying over?

Thanks for any advice...
