Understeer ?
I will be running a set of MPSS 295F-315R. Will the understeer be a little worse with the wider tires. It would seem so, but would like any comments about this.

Nope they actually grip better. I never had understeer with them on the stock suspension.

I'm running 295s all around, and 23mm front / 28mm rear sway bars on an SS, so I may have a little different experience than you, but my answer is also no. I've only gotten to run on an autocross once with my current setup, and the only time I experienced any understeer was when I overcooked a decreasing-radius corner, and that's about a worse case scenario/me being an idiot and bad driver. You should have front end grip for days.

Thank all of you for your comments. It looks like I will install a BMR swaybar set as I will be looking for a neutral to very tiny bit of oversteer with the 295 - 315 combo.

You going to be running lowering springs? I want to do 295 up front with Apex springs (1" drop) but not sure it will work.

I will not be lowering as it most likely will cause rubbing on the roads that I like to drive on.

You are keeping the same front to rear stagger that you had with the stock tires so amount of understeer or oversteer should stay the same but with the better grip from the bigger tires your limits should be higher.
