Jac Fab "extendolator" and V-Max throttle body combo?

Is anyone out there running these two together and is so how do they work? Assist each other nicely and gains with each or does adding one with the other not help much?

The jacfab piece will give you a nice bump in tq I believe about 12 ft lbs. The graph I've seen with it also had his ported intake manifold which will help as well I recommend it. The throttle body is popular here however I don't think you'll feel much peer from it just a smoother better throttle response and that's not a bad thing.

I have the VMAX PTB, Jacfab Extendolator, and the Jacfab ported intake manifold. They all play nice with one another. I also have the Vitesse Motorsports throttle controller also and it is just insane how quick off the line it makes the vehicle now....if you can get your rear wheels to hook. If you get the Extendolator might as well get the ported intake manifold. He gives you a great deal if you purchase both.

I went ahead ans scoped out his website and it doesn't say anything about intake manifold porting.... Has this seen a dyno and improvements just curious also do you remember what you paid to have yours done? Is it a he sends you one you send yours in for a core or does your car have to sit down for awhile?

Send him a private message. His username is Jason@Jacfab. He doesn't actively promote the ported intake due to the core return issue, so yes he sends you a ported intake and you send him back yours to get the core fee returned. He did all the R and D on both items and the dyno results can be found here:

I don't remember pricing but I believe it was 450 total after the core fee was returned.

I try to keep the porting to word of mouth, as mentioned, I only have 4 core intakes to go around currently. If I advertised it I'd constantly be sold out and I don't like dealing with back orders.

Technically I'm not supposed to discuss pricing outside the classifieds, so if you are interested send me a pm or shoot me an email. But typically what I will do is send out one of my intakes and charge a core charge on it which is refundable upon receiving your stock intake back unmodified, and undamaged. Occasionally someone will send me their own intake to modified to avoid paying the core charge.

They do work really well, see a dyno graph below. Shown is the best and worst run of stock, stock intake w/ just the spacer, and the ported intake with the spacer. All runs were made with the stock tune. The 2nd graph shows all runs made that particular day. You guys be the judge.

Currently, I think I have one core intake here I could do up, waiting on the rest of the cores to show up. Also anyone reading this that had previously contacted me about the intake, I have located a more affordable source to purchase new GM LFX intakes and I have been able to drop the core charge cost by $100 from what it previously was.

So he'd be looking at about a 25 hp gain?

You will notice it pull harder doing the combo. I noticed mine pulls harder around 3k rpm.

JacFab ported intake, spacer, ported throttlebody and throttle controller on mine that all work nice. The JacFab spacer and ported intake really woke my car up and my nitrous REALLY loved it.
