Untangling the Rats Nest(Injector Wires)
Ok, I said to myself I wasn't going to fuss over the looks of the engine compartment, but all those damn wires look like crap and they get in the way all the time. So, can someone tell me the ABC's of cleaning up the wire harness?
Like for instance, relocating the coil packs and wires. Can I just unravel the big group of wires and splice in extensions to move the packs? I've seen some pretty clean looking motors, so I know it's possible. What are people using for wire chases for things like the injectors other then the "stock black plastic corrugated stuff"?

Biggest thing is to think it through and take your time, measure twice (sometimes 3 times) and cut once. I made this a while ago, but if you have any questions let me know. |
