front license plates....
we don't need them in indiana and i HATE them on cars. i'm planning on buying my camaro in two weeks in massachusettes, and just got a picture of the car and it has a front license plate holder... are these screwed on to the cars? i will NOT be happy with this on my car and definitely won't be happy with holes in my car.

no, the car i'm buying ALREADY has it on there. i'm buying it from a dealer in MA and he sent me pics and i just noticed it and kind of freaked. lol

Yes there are 4 rivets through the bumper....sorry.
I did the same thing...when I saw it I said "deal is off" lol My car was a CT car imported to NC by the dealer...they fixed the holes in the bumper... Pulled the bumper fascia and filled the holes from the rear then re-painted it..can't tell they were ever there.. Just make sure the fill them from the backside...my dealers body man said any other way and they will be noticable again after 6 months.. Before..  After....

hmmm maybe this dealer will do that for me. it may sound petty, but that could sort of be a deal breaker. i think they are SUPER tacky... especially since i live in a state that doesn't need one.

I would order a different car. The factory puts the bracket in the trunk. I told my dealer I would not buy it if they put it on my car. They didn't. I did put a "no drill" bracket on because Ohio requires a front plate, but this bracket uses existing screws under the facia.

thanks! of course if there isn't anything they can do about that front plate holder then i'm back at square one. it's feeling more and more like this just isn't meant to be right now! :(
