A lot really hinges on rim size.
Up to 16", the Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOT is great. For 18" rims, the new Mickey Thompson Street Radial II (and also the new M&H Racemaster) makes some great up to 345's, the Hoosier DRs go 315/335. For 20" rims, Nitto seems to be the only one on the block with a true DR so far. The widest looks to be a 305. Suspension settings make a huge difference. I've had better results with the Hoosier... I've used both tires while drag racing my Charger SRT8 and the Hoosier seemed to hook much better.

66 nova came from gm with 14" or 15" so i run 15" on that car, But hoosiers have some good tires in !*" and some 19" too.
