Picked up my car yesterday afteroon, raining of course. Dealer told me to bring it back over the weekend, he would open shop doors and let me in to clean it up where it's warm and dry. Then told me to lock up the doors when I leave. Pretty much the great service I expected and recieved from a great business.

Going to be really nice since the temps are only going to be in the 40's. Washing and waxing in 70 degrees is a lot nicer.

Who is your dealer? I bought from Thoroughbred. I pretty much bought the car off the lot in July and then haven't talked to them since. I haven't had any reason to talk to them so far -- no issues except for window indexing that I solved by removing the fuses. My wife likes the service she gets from them w/her Uplander (which is why I bought there).
I would like to go in and get the update to my PCIM so that my radio doesn't turn to the Ipod source every time I take my car in, but it's not a big enough deal that I want to rework my schedule. I have vacation coming up in the next few weeks and will probably do it then.
I'd like to know who here provides that kind of customer service.

Can't say they would provide the same service for each customer but it wasn't a dealer in Lexington. A surrounding county I will say. Bought my 93 Z from Conrad Chevrolet which is now Thoroughbred and was pretty good service back then. I'm afraid if I say there might be a flood of calls to their service dept. ha ha

Yeah thats really awesome of them. I brought mine in 2 days after I picked it up to get the user manual and on star stuff... and they pretty much just threw a bucket of dirty water on my car and didn't dry it off or anything. Looked worse afterwards than it did when I came.

Yes, the owner thanked me for my business when picking up the car. I thanked him right back for the great service with phone calls and updates through out my 4 month wait. I really didn't mind him putting on their dealership decal before I left. With service like that I don't mind do a little advertising for them.
