Caliper Covers for 2015 SS

My brembo calipers on the SS look pretty sad, They've faded and most of the lettering is gone. I saw an SS like mine recently with black caliper covers with "Camaro" script, and they looked great. Do they really cut down on brake dust, and do they fit well, even over the brembo calipers? Are they difficult to install?
Comments greatly appreciated. And, no, I don't want to paint them.
Thanks!

Not long ago I had the same dilemma as you my friend. Brake dust is a royal pain in the backside but one of those things we live with unless we own the Z28. Originally my 2014 Ashen Gray convertible had OEM chrome wheels, showed the dust bad, I mean bad. I changed over to the 21" OEM wheels that are black behind the 5 spokes, yes the dust is still there but much less noticeable. I had my Brembo calipers powder coated, I know it's a lot of money to spend but sure as heck looks nice. Another benefit of the coated calipers is they really seem to clean up much easier. I wash my car at least once every two weeks, more often once a week. The pressure from the hose washes off majority of the dust from he calipers. Wheels I still have to use the good old sponge. Turn around for sending out your calipers is nothing less than phenomenal!

You can repaint your current calipers without removing them from the vehicle.

1. Remove wheel
2. Use plastic to cover vehicle
3. Pic a good caliper paint and clear coat made for calipers
4. Purchase Brembo decals from EBay for a few dollars
5. Clean calipers really good before painting remove calipers from rotor let hang
6. Put a few coats of caliper paint apply decals and then clear coat per directions
7. Go heat those suckers up after install and they will last for years.

Pic of mine after 2.5 years, used the process above. Cost approx $35.00

Like the OP, I'm mainly interested in feedback on covers. I have irons in too many other fires to mess with DIY painting.

Understood, I just think putting a cover over a Beautiful Brembo caliper is a shame and cheapens the look of the car. Just an opinion and was trying to give the OP another option. I do understand DIY takes a few hours so I understand that also. I’m sure someone will chime in on covers..

I must agree with you, such a shame to cover those bad boys up!

I generally think caliper covers are one of the "ricier" things to do to a car. Right up there with stick-on parts from PepBoys.

Caliper covers over nice Brembo 4-piston calipers though? You've got to be kidding me.
