Road Tar on Paint

For all you experienced detail pro's out there, What is the best way (easiest on the paint) to remove road tar for the exterior paint?

Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover. Spay it on, let it sit for a minute or two and wipe off. Thats all you have to do. I have used it since May when I got my car and it works great.

I prefer 'Stoners' "Tarminator".

Once you've allowed it to sit a few minutes, wipe away the tar, followed by a clean towel and some clean water over the affected area(s).

WD-40 used it for years.. spray, let sit for a min or two and wipe off, re-wax.
