I was thinking about a name for my 09 camaro not sure anybody else planning on naming their car and should it be a boy or a girl

As a former sailor I hold to the tradition that ships are women. So, I'll be naming her along the same lines.... I know FbodFather thinks that V-8's are male. But I have to disagree. If an aircraft carrier with all it's might can be a woman.... I'm perfectly comfortable with my Camaro being one.

Now, as for the name... I'm not quite there yet. I probably won't know that until I see her for the first time.

I agree with gtahvit.

My cars have always had female names. This one will be no differnet.

My wife is starting to get jealous. She says I talk about this car when I wakeup and before I go to sleep.

What is wrong with 2 women in your life?

It's a boy for me...you just can't talk to women about some things.....

I haven't decided on a name, though. It'll come to me when I take delivery of it.

After much thought and consideration.

I have decided to name my camaro Jedrek. It means Strong and Manly, and it is Polish origin.

Really? I thought since you had the goal of making it Pink and Black you might give it more of a feminine name.

or I agree with the girld names. If I can find one that matches her. plus a girl can be a beast too right?

I always refer to my cars as "she". There are just too many similarities...pleasure, pain, $, etc.

I never understood why you would give a "thing" a name. I'll call it car or maybe camaro, but won't refer to it as "she" or "he"

All my friends call my Blazer Jimmy, which is also my name.

My dad calls his GMC duelly BuRT for Big Red Truck and his Garmin GPS Martha. So I will have to wait till I see what the Camaro's personality is. But if I paint it like the pick in my sig, I might name it Smokey.
