Hey everyone, I'm getting my camaro soon!!

but I live in Michigan and i dont think the stock parellis will stand so what do you guys recomend to buy for snow/ice.

I was thinking Parelli snow and ice there was also a youtube video i saw about firestone and they were putting steel tacks in the tires for traction

You could buy the 18" OEM herritage steel tires that come on the LS. I might have a set for cheap, if you are interested...

If you want the stock look for winter, the 20" Pirelli Scorpion Ice and snow on the stock wheels is the way to go!

Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow is definitely the way to go - I'd recommend picking up a pair of 20" rims to go with them; over time removing tires and putting them back on over and over again can be hard on a tire (not to mention can scratch your aluminum rim). Picked up some G-Racing Tokyo in a black finish (great for winter snow and rocks) for about $210 a wheel. Much easier to mount and dismount yourself too...

I'm rockin the 18in Pirelli S&I, been driving on 12 inches of snow and ice all winter, no problems.

GM put Pirelli Ice and Snow on the CTFs last winter. Darn nice winter tire. No problems, quiet and good handling tire for the non-snowy days too.

If that fits the budget, that's the tire I would go with if you aren't storing your car.

Well im only 18 so this will be my daily driver i plan on powder coating the stock rims anyways for year round looks i might go with the scorpians.

i got 20''s LM60 BLIZZAKS from Bridgestone on all 4 corners in my SS way better than the Pirrellis. it grips in the snow and claws into the ice... fun to drive in the winter as a daily driver fyi!!!
