the dealer here will do it, and cover you under warranty. Basically if you have them do it and something happens, they dont tell Chevy about the modification. If you take it to a different dealer and they report it, GM will most likely void your warranty. It's pretty much like that for all manufacturers. If the dealer doesn't report to mod, the manufacturer will never know.

Yes Dealer will install supercharger they have done one on both my Two 2010 Camaro's...Plus exhaust and headers and Flow through Cats. Shifter too...
As Far as warranty goes....See This link.

By the way I blew tranny with 500 miles Dealer got me new one under warranty with supercharger.

They can only deny your warranty if the Mod caused the problem...See link !

They can oftentimes do it, but I'd rather have a more skilledand experienced performance shop do this sort of work.

If you drove on you would want one !

So Far so Good on Mine.

I Have both....

My Dealer has done at Least 5 of them which isn't alot
(nobody has the money around here or they would have more)
but again they did the work and they are right in my back yard if I have issues.

I would think They would also be more likely to work with you on warranty issues if your dealer installs. Just a guess...

Example. I had an exhaust heat shield that started rattling after a few miles from exhaust they put on. They fixed it no charge and I didn't have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. If that happened your dealer would probably tell you to take it to who put exhaust on...Just guessing on that one I am sure each dealer is different.

Anyway My dealer has done quite a few supercharger installs over the years. Joe Gibbs Pick up conversions is where they started.

They are an approved magnusun installer. There are many of those and I am sure Magnusun would give you a list of their approved dealers if you ask.

The install will only be as good as the guy doing it....No matter where they are.

Some of the performance shops can probably do a better job on tweaking the tune but that is where Magnusun will no longer Warranty their supercharger. They clearly state if you mess with their tune your on your own.

Lots of options, but I feel comfortable with my dealer installs..two down and they run great no problems on either one.

I know guys like Lingy and Hennesy have Warranty options but too far away for me!

I know they havre done a lot more installs than my dealer because that is what they do...but do to the expense and time and distance in case of problems I stayed close to home.

It is by no means a difficult install, many are doing there own.

Bottom line ...Do your research and go to who you feel most comfortable with.

Many qualified installers all across the USA !

Good Luck

My Automatic Install By Dealer....Still have to do some rubbing on intake

So let me get this straight. The dealer installed the SC and I assume they did the tune as well since you have to have one on a SC, and they still covered it under factory warranty? This goes in the face of all the "Tunes kill your warranty, PERIOD" guys.

I know of several "mod friendly dealers" but to cover a tranny that is under a SC is f'n awesome.

A dealer will do anything as long as your willing to pay for it.

I have a friend who has blown second gear twice from mis shifting and he has same setup as me and they replaced his twice.

Output shaft broke on Mine...Fixed in three days with new shifter.
They told him no more though.

We put RIP shift shifters on his and Mine and he hasn't missed a shift since! (My 6 speed not the L99 Pictured. I have a Cyber Gray 6 speed Blown as well, and that is the one the tranny went out of) Also Dealer installed with Chrome blower.

Might be a little tenative now since he has to pay for the next one!
