So after over 3 weeks without my beautiful awesome car and a not so good vacation experience this weekend I will be picking her up today after work.

I'm as excited as the day I found out I was the proud owner of one!! This will be one long day. Okay so this thread is pretty much pointless I just had to share my excitement! I'm just wondering now even though the car actually has over 9,000 miles the new engine will not have that many so do we do the break in all over again??

Now if we can just keep the rain out of Florida so I can enjoy having my car back this weekend!

great you are getting her back.if it is a new engine,you will have to break her in again.

Yes it is a new engine, I figured we would have to do the break in all over...the part that sucks is doing another $70 oil change in 1500 miles when they just did one 3 weeks ago that literally went to waste!

Yep it is roughly $70 to change the oil at my dealer. I did check around at other companies just to make sure I wasn't being overcharged and they averaged a few $ less. However at my dealer you buy two oil changes you get the third free. Ends up being cheaper. I think it holds like 8 quarts of oil and I was told synthetic runs about $6-7 a quart. Correct me if I am wrong.
