clutchless shifting??

so yesterday i was driving on the highway in valkyrie camllia and i was in third gear as i step on the gas to shift into fourth gear with my hand on the shifter. then as i sped up, i accidentally moved my shifter and it just slid into neutral.

is that normal?

(i just shifted normally into fourth after that.)

Yes but please don't be like some people and take it as encouragement to not use the clutch.

I only know two people who don't use the clutch, one drives a Miata with Applee stickers all over it and turns red as a beet if you don't call it an MX-5 (thought we was going to literally sh*t his pants when we printed out a mazdaspeed service manual page that called it a Miata and taped it to his office door lol) and the other only has 50% of his teeth remaining. Whether or not that's from the meth habit he HAS to have to think it's a good idea, or just from his tranny punching him in the face (you can figure out on your own which kind I mean) for doing that is none of my concern.

Yeah, it'll do that. There's far less force keeping the dog teeth IN gear, than there are keeping it out. Be careful how you rest your hand on that shifter!

and MX-5 is 100% a miata. if you are going to own one, you better be ready to admit it. but at least it had apple stickers... they make them more reliable and less prone to viruses.

He's not THE biggest douche in the universe, but on this planet, it's a close race.

I mean I get it, they are fun, no problems there. But they have the rep they do for a reason. I didn't freak out when people called my Z a retarded jellybean, it was fun and I loved it, who cares what they think?

This is the same guy that YELLED at me when 4-5 of us coworkers went to lunch once. He didn't like my opinion on something and in a restaurant decided that yelling at me was a slick thing to do.

I'm not surprised at ALL that he drives a miata with apple stickers on it...
