Tuning Pros Please Read

Here's my setup:

2010 SS LS3
Flowmaster AT catback
ADM Performance offroad downpipes
K&N typhoon intake
Diablosport predator

What can I do to make sure my tune is properly set for the items above?

are there any parameters that i can adjust from the hand held to make it more effective overall or do i need to have a custom tune placed into the programmer?

Thanks for your help guys & possibly gals.

Zach

do a steady driving/cruising data log to see where your average LTFT's are at, and adjust your injector slope to get your fueling dialed in correctly so that your average LTFT's get in to the 0 to -2 range...

here's info:

np man, you're welcome...

and if you're ever interested in getting some more performance/giddy-up out of it, you can consider getting a custom tune created specifically for your car - from a Diablosport CMR custom tuner (like me )....

Injector slope? I hope that's slang for fixing the MAF curve via a Predator.

yes, it is correct 2010 Sin...

DStech - with diablo programmers for GM's, you adjust the part-throttle fueling by adjusting the injector slope, not the MAF curve... you can't adjust/tweak the MAF curve table via a handheld, so that's what they give ya to work with...

I'm sure tweaking the MAF curve via a handheld programmer would be a PITA for most end-users who aren't sure what they're doing to begin with, if it was even be possible via a handheld...

at least they give you a way to adjust the fueling and get it dialed in, unlike other handhelds... heh..

That blows. I'll stick to MAF curves.

Go with the custom tune. Raping the injector slope with your handheld tuner is not a good idea. With your setup the MAF sensors needs to be calibrated as well as the VE equations.

If you adjust the injector data to dial in the fueling because the MAF and VE is incorrect you will throw off every other table in the computer that is based on airmass.
