PDIM Installed - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just had the PDIM installed this afternoon into my 1SS. It took a while for the shop to install since it was the first one they had done, but it works great.

Also highly recommend the proclip console iPhone holder, with connector pass through. Makes life easy.

Phone calls mute the audio that is playing, and calls can be taken through the iphone's speaker phone. iPod controlls are cut off when the phone is plugged in, but can be controlled through the stereo. Non iPod applications can still be used while plugged in... ie google maps, safari, apps.

Dealer was a little confused at first when I asked for a quote on the audio switch and harness for the stearing wheel. Having the part numbers availble from the Camaro5 forums helped greatly, and i hope to have those installed within a week or two.
